1. Services
The Enchanted Event Co. (“TEECO,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides event design, styling, planning, décor rental, setup, breakdown, and coordination services as outlined in individual proposals or agreements. All services are subject to availability and confirmation.
2. Proposals, Booking & Payments
- A signed proposal and required retainer are necessary to secure your event date.
- Retainers are non-refundable are applied toward the total event cost.
- Remaining balance must be paid according to the timeline specified in your proposal.
- Failure to submit payments by agreed deadlines may result in service cancellation or late fees.
3. Cancellations & Changes
- Client-initiated cancellations must be submitted in writing.
- Payments made are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in your signed agreement.
- Event changes (date, location, scope, guest count, or design direction) may result in additional fees and are subject to availability.
- We reserve the right to substitute design elements or vendors of equal value if necessary.
4. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and timely event details.
- Secure venue access, permits, and approvals as required.
- Ensure a safe working environment for vendors and staff.
- Be financially responsible for damage, loss, or theft of rented décor items during the event period.
5. Rental‑Only Terms & Conditions
This section applies exclusively to clients booking décor, furniture, picnic setups, styling items, or other physical assets from The Enchanted Event Co. (“TEECO”) without full planning or coordination services.
1. Rental Period
- The rental period begins at the time items are delivered or installed and ends upon scheduled pickup or breakdown.
- Early setup, extended use, delayed access, or late returns may result in additional fees.
2. Responsibility & Care of Items
- Clients assume full responsibility for all rented items during the rental period, including during events where TEECO staff is not present.
- Items must be used only for their intended purpose and may not be altered, disassembled, or modified in any way.
3. Damage, Loss & Replacement
- Clients are financially responsible for loss, theft, excessive wear, stains, burns, breakage, or damage beyond normal use.
- Replacement costs will be assessed based on full replacement value, including sourcing and administrative costs.
- Missing or irreparably damaged items will be billed to the payment method on file.
4. Weather & Outdoor Use
- For outdoor events, clients accept all risks associated with weather conditions.
- Rentals may not be exposed to rain, moisture, excessive heat, or wind unless explicitly approved in writing.
- Weather-related damage is not considered normal wear and will be billed accordingly.
5. Placement, Access & Venue Conditions
- Clients are responsible for ensuring safe, level, and accessible placement surfaces.
- We are not responsible for damage caused by uneven ground, venue restrictions, guest interference, or third-party vendors.
- Venue access delays or restrictions that affect setup or pickup may incur additional labor charges.
6. No Sub‑Renting or Transfers
- Rental items may not be sub‑rented, loaned, relocated, or transferred to another party or location without prior written approval.
7. Pickup & Failure to Return
- Items not available at the agreed-upon pickup time will incur late fees.
- Items not recovered within 48 hours may be deemed lost and billed at full replacement cost.
8. Limitation of Liability (Rentals)
- TEECO is not liable for injury, accidents, or damage resulting from the use or misuse of rental items once they are delivered or installed.
- Client agrees to indemnify and hold The Enchanted Event Co. harmless from claims arising out of rental use.
6. Intellectual Property
All designs, concepts, images, documents, proposals, and branding created by TEECO are the intellectual property of The Enchanted Event Co.
- Clients may not reproduce, distribute, or use content for commercial purposes without written permission.
- We reserve the right to photograph and showcase event designs for portfolio, website, and marketing purposes unless otherwise requested in writing.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- The Enchanted Event Co. is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for services rendered.
- We are not responsible for circumstances beyond our control, including weather, vendor failure, venue restrictions, or acts of God.
8. Third-Party Vendors
We may recommend or coordinate with third-party vendors. These vendors operate independently and are not agents or employees of The Enchanted Event Co. We are not responsible for their performance, products, or services.
9. Privacy
